No the smell of nail enamel will not hurt your baby. If you have artificial nails, then you SHOULD be concerned about inhaling the filings when you have fills and stuff done. My sister-in-law used to do nails and she continued to work until a month before her first son was born. I don't think it affected him. He seems normal and well adjusted.
